Travel book suggestion: “Man in the saddle”
Spending more time at home right now and looking for a good read? We recommend the book “Man in the Saddle”. We came across this inspiring 3-year travel adventure and we thought it was definitely worth a share as our very first entry on our blog.
The book is written by a fellow Dutchman Paul van Hooff who travelled on a vintage 1975 Moto Guzzi, following the footsteps on Che Guevara, all the way from Deadhorse (Alaska) to Ushuaia (Argentina). 60.000 KM of freedom!
The author’s choice of motorcycle is as unique as his interactions with the people and history he finds along the way. Bolivia plays an important role in the book. When in Sucre (Bolivia) Paul van Hooff met Roxana. Together they had twins: Santiago and Sebastian.
